1st Project! (Takina Cosplay)
Sharing about my first project!
20-07-2024, It's was a really big experience for me.
My first project with my model @yoms.kii and with my team @mncrew_bali. It's was a good experience because in this project i was learn many things. Start from pre-production that i make some powerpoint for reference and style for Takina Cosplay, and then focusing production site. It was a massive delay and scuffed for a second. But, we can manage it until the production was done!. Last, post-production. It's was fun, because i'm experimental anything especially making a photocard and post for better quality.
Pre-production
What's i'm doing in pre-production? well... it's was a fun and hectic because you making some concept for the shot.
Here what's step to do my pre-production better:
- Searching various angle.
- Reference for editing (either color grading and GFX).
- Searching for perfect gear to bring it on the project.
Now we're going to production site!
Production
So we go to production.
I currently using A7III for my production, FE 50mm 1.8 and 2x Flash GODOX (TT650 and TT520II)
Note : Whatever your camera, it's Man Behind the gun
Result SOOC from my project :

What's the key to good at production site :
- Communication = Key!
- Location/Venue can be a good impact for the pict
- Be fun in the project!
Post-production
Most stressfull step in the project...
Editing
Seeking about editing, many question appear..
-
Software!
I usually using Adobe Photoshop. Currently, i'm interesting with 2024-2025 version... Why?
IMO (In my Opinion), 2024-2025 version is a Must try version. AI like Generative Expand, Generative Fill is a to do list try for experimental. it's was a great tools for you to help something like visual effect.
Note : Not 100% you wanna make using AI, so AI for me it's only an experimenting sequence. for better option, learn visual effect for Photoshop.

Flow editing
Basicly, i'm have my own flow to edits. After the project was done, i usually backup first the pict and then i process to Photoshop/Lightroom. After that i usually have a three key step, White Balance, Skin Tone and Exposure.
